The 150th Kingston Agricultural Show will be held at the historic Kingston Showgrounds on Sunday 17th December 2017. Come and celebrate with us! Following on from the success of last year’s show there will again be (only) horse and dairy goat competitions. There will be seven horse rings: the usual three rings (and hence three chances) for led and ridden hacks, galloways and ponies and rings for the different breeds. Last year there was also great show of dairy goats and the same is expected again. The show program is being revised and will be out some time after August. It will be available on our great new website: www.kingstonshow.org.au. You can also follow us on Facebook.
Competitors and friends always enjoy coming to Kingston because it is a family friendly show set in beautiful surrounds. The showground is close to the magnificent Kingston Avenue of Honour and features views from the 1902 Victorian Heritage Listed Grandstand across the volcanic landscape. The canteen will operate from 8 am with bacon & eggs, sausages, hamburgers, sandwiches etc..
Note that this year the Stockman’s Challenge will be a separate event held on Sunday 5th November at the Kingston showgrounds. On the day prior, Saturday 4th November, there will be a clinic conducted by the well-credentialed Tim Chamberlain and David Murphy. Places for the clinic will be limited and more details about the clinic and competition will be posted on our website and Facebook in about July.
Put these dates in your diaries and come and have fun!
