2026 VAS Ltd Saddle Horse Championships Schedule is now available
UPDATED SCHEDULE: 27/11/2025 Please note the schedule has been updated with all judges names now listed. Please note we have had to replace the two originally listed SA judges due to their circumstances changing and availability to judge but they have been replaced with two further SA judges, which are now listed in the schedule.
Please see below timetable for each day and previous exhibitors you will notice quite a change to the timetable to hopefully make it easier for exhibitors and to avoid clashes especially for Off The Track Competitors.

Exhibitor Fees
Compulsory Catalogue per exhibitor $15.00
Swabbing Fee per horse $10.00
Online/Venue Fee per exhibitor $20.00
Camping & Stabling Requirements
Due to the racecourse not being allowed to have camping overnight we have arranged for the Bendigo Showgrounds to be available still for camping and stabling. You can book your requirements through the entry process if you would like to take up this option.
Stabling - Stabling is available at the Bendigo Showgrounds to be booked via the entry process.
$20.00 per night
Friday & Saturday Night Available
$50.00 Stable Bond per stable will be payable to ensure stables are cleaned. This will be returned after the championships once confirmed your stable is cleaned. Please ensure you use the allocated stable you were allocated.
Camping - Camping is available at the Bendigo Showgrounds to be booked via the entry process.
Powered Sites $30.00 per night
Unpowered Sites $25.00 per night
Friday & Saturday Night Available
Straw - Straw is available at the Bendigo Showgrounds to be booked via the entry process.
$10.00 per bale

2026 Saddle Horse Championships Qualifications
Led Classes, Diamond Debutante, Child’s Mounts, Amateur Owner Rider, Leading Rein & First Ridden Pony: No qualifications required
Rising Star: No qualifications required
First Season: Must have attended and competed under saddle at a minimum of 2 VAS Ltd Affiliated Shows between 1/1/2025 – 14/12/2025
Riding: 1 First Place or 2 Second Places in riding classes at VAS Ltd Affiliated Shows between 1/1/2025 – 14/12/2025
Open: 1 Champion or 2 Reserve Champions, or 2 Open Class wins at a VAS Ltd Agricultural Show between 1/1/2025 – 14/12/2025
Off The Track (Ridden & Led): Must have qualified in the 2025 Calendar Year at a VAS Ltd Affiliated Show in the Off The Track Qualifying Show Level event.
Alabar Hero Series: Must have qualified in the 2025 Calendar Year at a VAS Ltd Affiliated Show in the Alabar Hero Series Qualifying Show Level event.
Good Hands: All competitors are required to have qualified at VAS Ltd Affiliated Shows held between 1/1/2025 – 14/12/2025
